Short 1" Bulkheads

Hi,

Have looked everywhere I can find on the Internet to find 3 short 1" bulkheads, with no success.

Does anyone know where I might find them? Or have some they'd be willing to sell?

cheers

David

just buy a high quality bulkhead (like the pvc ones at BRS) and carefully cut the threads.

The only problem with that is that they are the larger hole size...

I also tried cutting the regular 1" bulkheads down, but there's an internal lip (for some reason) which stops you from inserting the pipe once you've cut it down :(

Im guessing they are slip/slip? the lip is to keep the pipes from either side getting pushed in to far, if you want them to work post cutting youll need to sand(or dremel) out the lip and probably glue the pipes since they will have much less contact area with the bulkhead and will be more prone to slipping out and leaking

I need these for BeanAnimal overflow, where I am trying to keep the vertical pipes as close as possible to the tank. So:

Thanks - Will threaded even work in that situation?

Just check that you've already ruled out Uniseals for your application:

Thanks for the suggestion...don't know much about them! I'm guessing that they don't work great for an actual bulkhead?

cheers
