Short recirculating skimmers

Anybody know of any recirculating skimmers on the market less than 22" tall? Or is there a reason why there are no short ones?

The reason why there is not many short recir skimmer is because of the pump placement on the side. The standard NW skimmers have the pumps at the bottom or next to the skimmer. So these skimmers don't need to the extra height.

I'm sure there are some small recir skimmers....

Deltec has a small skimmer but its expensive everything else is taller then 22" that I can find.

Why so short? If you use a recirc skimmer, you can mount it away from your tank or sump in a spot w/ a little more clearance. Just a thought.

I would like to hide the skimmer under my tank...I know all the options and this is just the best one for my situation.
