I might take you up on it if you can wait until I return from Cali on Tuesday. I have 2 rhomboids, laboutei, and a couple of others.

Not in Knox anymore, but if you are willing to ship, put me next inline.

Dave, hope everything is working out well with you.

Sounds like a tough life. I thought you had a lineatus? Still looking for a hooded?

All I have are Flame wrasse pair, Rhomboid (subadult), pink margin, and a royal flasher (as far as wrasses are concerned). Been looking for a lineatus, red velvet and labouti for..... a while now.

Lineatus jumped during the move. I'll pick up any of the following if I come across them (and I have reason to know I might):

Hooded
C. johnsoni
C. earlei

I would volunteer to babysit the fish for a few days if necessary...but it wouldn't be easy to catch in my tank. I guess as a last resort, I could throw him in my sump if you don't have any better options.

obviously would rather not, but if i have to ship you are first in line sir

Thanks, but I think Dave will get him. He is a wrasse hoarder-- I mean collector.

If you see an earlei-- that is a no brainer. From what I hear, they rarely make it in, and if they do, they are bought before they are offered for sale. But then again, this was from an online fish store. Best of luck to you. A source (trying not to break RC rules) just did an article on the johnsoni and my LFS had one in recently.

haven't seen a picture of the johnsoni yet that has blown me away......but the C. earlei. wow. can't wait till they are more common (price drop)

If Paul really wants him and you're willing to ship go for it. I won't guarantee I'll pick it up Tuesday as it really depends on if I'm broke or not when I return and I can't this w/e. Nice looking lineatus though.

I have to catch him out of my reef, so i'd really rather not ship if possible, as i want the least amount of stress as possible.

Just let me know either way Tuesday, Dave-because i'll have to have him out by weds!

First of all, I would like to thank holdyourlight for an exceptional fish. I would also like to thank Dave for knowing good people and not hoarding all the good wrasses. Lastly I would like to thank everyone in the Knoxville area that passed on this fish. Thanks everyone.

He is the new centerpiece of my tank.

I'm glad it worked out well for both of you. It was an excellent price but it seems holdyourlight and I are the only people in these parts who treasure the fairy wrasses.

Dave

I love fairy wrasses, but with my inexperience in reef keeping thus far I thought it would be best to pass on this beautiful fish. I could barely stomach the $75 we spent on our 4" Solar Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus solorensis) but he has to be my favorite fish. I am sure we will start getting more species after we find a more permanent residence (apartment currently) at which point we will have a much larger system.

That is a stunning fish and I am glad everything worked out well with shipping.
