Saving up for a DSLR and macro lense. Decided to dig out the old point and shoot to mess with settings so I know what to do when I get my new toy.

Thanks. It's a Samsung st100 point and shoot. Nothing special but it takes decent pictures

Why get a dslr when ur pshoot already does macro like that!! Good job!!!

That first shot is super impressive -- the depth of field does make it look like you already have something with a decent sensor size!

Decided to go mirrorless and got the Sony A6000. Shot ting with the 3.5/30 mm macro lense. Still learning how to use it but here's some shots for comparison. (I need to download and learn how to use photo editing software so the aren't altered yet)
