I'll be starting a new tank in January and I plan to add a BTA to this one in hopes that my clowns will leave my Frogspawn alone. Frogspawn won't hardly open up currently because the clowns are always swimming right in the middle of them. My plan is to run both tanks for awhile until I can get my livestock into the new tank. New tank will be started with fresh Tampa Bay Saltwater Liverock so that should be OK for adding a BTA to a new tank I would think. So, here are my questions...
1. Since the BTA will want to move around to find a spot it likes, should I add it first and allow it to do so? (Before I start adding corals.)
2. Then on the fish, my clowns are pretty aggressive, should I hold off on adding them until I get other fish in. Here are the fish I am planning in the tank...
Percula Clownfish pair
Yellow spot fox face
Yellow eyed Kole tang
Maybe a Potter's angel
a few other smaller fish
Tank is 48x24x21, 108G.
Thanks
