Ok so I dipped it in the vinegar for about 30 secs...no gsp's harmed in the process just a little bent that I pulled them out of the water. I rinsed the spot I submerged with fresh saltwater to get the vinegar off. Only question is what happens if a little vinegar gets in the tank? You know from the part I had in the vinegar.

My large system has 2 - 60 gallon display tanks plumbed together with a 30 gallon cryptic refugium and a shared 30 gallon sump. So 180 gallons minus rock.

I actually did pretty good in chem... But that was a while ago. I started my first saltwater tank 2 moths ago with my 20g qt tank that I had for cichlids. I had to move the tank and so since I had to take it down to move it I said why not just start saltwater. Hopefully by end of year I can grab a 75 and have some more fun and a hell of a lot more work lol.

Well hopefully it was just those two.. It's only been in the tank for a little over a week. Is aiptasia x a good thing to keep in the cabinet as a rainy day thing? I got lucky cause I was able to pull the small piece it was on out and soak it in vinager.

I have had more than what you have and was able to eradicate the aiptaisia in my tank with aiptaisia-x

It's good to have around. Works like a charm for me
