Should I buy It?

An LFS has 2 of these guys in stock. Prices are $300 for the med. and $350 for the large... What do ya'll think? (They are ORA "Zebra" maximas)

Beautiful looking clam! $300.00 I would pass--- just me.

Yeah that is my hangup. It is a gorgeous clam, but... I don't know that I want to plunk down the money for it.

Funny, I was going to ask people's opinion about the same clam. Too bad we can not buy it and frag it to split cost

its the "wait a few years" type of clam and they should come down in price.

Don't know why black is so popular, I mean ok they are relatively rare, but come on, it's BLACK no vibrant coloration or anything of the like.

Only if........$300 to you is like $50 to me.

I have to agree with sfsuphysics. Pass on this one. JMO

Personally I'd pass it. But again that's based on my monthly hobby budget. So unless you have just received some nice pension or rolling in the dough then go ahead.
