should I cull?

So out of my 13 baby banggai, I have 2 that have bent dorsal fins. The babies are 10 days old. Is this a problem or will it correct as they grow?

bent dorsals shouldn't be a problem, now if they had deformed jaws or were missing caudal fins, then yes.

I suspected that might be the case (the fiery topic, I mean). Ran across that in my searches for the answer to my question, but wanted to be sure I was doing the responsible thing. Coming from the perspective of a dvm who sees the results of indiscriminate breeding of domestic animals, I was curious. Glad to hear that I can keep the little guys around. I'm getting a wee bit attached to the cuties. Thanks!

Bent dorsals are common IME, certainly no reason to destroy the fish.
