i have some toadstool, finger leather, colt coral, mushrooms, star polyps, and Xenia should i be feeding them anything and if so what should i use.

If you have fish and their food scatters through the water, and you have bristleworms to break things down further, fish poo and fish food, sunlight and saltwater mix with reg. water changes does it all.

i don't think that i have any worms. i feed my fish every three days either some mysis or brine shrimp. i have about 260 watts of light on my tank pc's. the only fish i have is a yellow tail damsel and a clown.

bristleworms are often just hitchhiker detrivores that help as part of the clean-up crew, but they're not a requirement, and sometimes their populations can become extremely high.

iceman, I wouldnt bother feeding those corals anything specific, they'll do fine on whatever the fish dont eat or other wastes.

bristleworms are more important, imho, if you have sps (branching stony, mostly) corals, which have very tiny mouths. I'm sure they'll arrive on some specimen, but don't worry about their lack at first. I lost all mine, swore I had none, and now I see about 4 larger ones (up to 5-10 inches) and a number of little guys, ironically, close to what I had before I moved house. They're great detrivores and are good to have, but just let them show up.
