Your tipical clean up crew will probably become fish food. In my 55 gallon aggressive tank I have a longspine urchin. It's not afraid of any of the fish and the fish don't bother it. I have seen it fend off newcomers to the tank with its spines. All the fish got the picture pretty quick and left it alone.
I don't think some of those fish are going to do well in a 55 gallon tank. Liveaquaria.com has some good information about fish including minimum tank size and compatibility ... worth a look.
You may have trouble keeping a clean up crew alive in that tank .. suspect the combo of trigger, puffer and an eel may make short work of a std clean up crew.
your trigger is going to eat your crabs for sure and probably try to peck at the snails you can get a few to test it out but I think its not a good idea.
You may have some luck with the snals as I have a few snails in my aggressive tank. I don't no why they haven't been eaten though. They ate some and left the rest, but if I add more they will eat some and leave some. I don't know how to explain it and there doesn't seem to be any particular spieces they favor or anything. Go figure.
