Should I run gfo?

So... Im sure mostly due to overfeeding, still trying to figure out how much is to much... My phosphates are a little high right now, last night I checked and I was over the 200ppb the ulr will test, I'm going to work on the root of the issue but just wondering if I should look into running gfo for the time being, tanks also a little newer, about 3.5 to 4 months now.

Definitely run GFO! It really helps keep algae down! How big is your tank? I have 110 gallons or so and run about a cup and a half of gfo and change it out every 2 months or so.

Awesome, thank you! I have a 90 DT plumbed to a 125 sump in the basement. Any recommendation as to which reactor to get? Are the cheaper ones any good or are there issues with them

I run it too for years. Just don’t want phosphate too low that Corals starve.

I just run the brs one and it works great. It is kinda bulky and I have to hang it to keep all the tubes to a minimum. If you have the space I would just get a basic one. Pretty easy to dial in. I have one actually that I haven't ever used I could sell you, if interested let me know.
