Should i upgrade Gen 1 Radion to Gen 3 pro

I mainly have a few leathers and mushrooms in my tank right now. I have never had luck with hard corals at all. I have some fish and what not, but will i benefit greatly from the upgrade?

A principal question is tank depth. Gen 3 Pro can reach way, way down, 30" or so. That can really help in some situations.
