Should this frag go straight to the trash?

I just got a few frags,These are the first into this system. I have noticed zoa pox on one of them. Have been in the tank for about 2 weeks. I plan on adding many more to this tank. So should I treat them or trash them? I know that sounds harsh but from what Ive read they are tough to get rid of.

try putting them in maybe a container with some fresh saltwater and see if u can kind of scrape them off i helped a friend a while back and it worked for him. also try dipping them in coral rx or reef dip or some type of dip it helps. let me know how it goes hope all goes well

Thanks ive read alot about treatment, guess Im just noe sure if I should fight it this early on.

Well, since the Coral is alive I'd suggest at least a cursory attempt at saving it. Don't go crazy, but try a dip and the scrape described above and see what happens.

I dont really get the scraping thing. sounds like needless stress and damage to me

all other dips suggested above are pointless stress as well

use furan2 and kill the pox. If they are too far gone it wont work, but if you are just now noticing it it should be a walk in the park to get rid of

simple as that

I have furan 2, picked it up after work today. i am just worried about spreading to future colonies.

IME, if you put a frag in the tank with it then its already in the tank whether you can see symptoms or not. Keep your paramters healthy and flow good and it will stay away, if and when it pops up again just be prepared to nip it in the bud

removing that coral or not at this point wont matter a bit if its mild and easily curable as it sounds
