My Clarkii pair. I jokingly refer to her as my "Clarkii that's going Onyx" Over the past year she's lost a considerable amount of black. See her bottom fins are almost completely black, and the black on her tail. Also, her right pectoral fin has a really cool "flare" on the outside edge. On her first picture you can just make it out, the yellow has a little blip that extends back. It's really hard to photograph.

If anyone has any idea as to a more specific location where she may have come from I'm all ears. Was sold to me as "wild caught Clarkii", so that's all the knowledge I have of her.

First off there is no bad pics. in my opinion. Second I'm not sure where it's from but I bet you glad you found it. I love the ones that are a little different from the rest. Thas how I pick all my fish. Awsome pics. Thanx

I actually bought her from a guy tearing apart his tanks to move across the country. I only bought her on my wife's insistence because she was sick of looking at the then empty tank while it was at the end of cycling

Here's my two. She's an ORA mis-bar and he's a regular ol' perc. As you can see she loves the frogspawn and throws the hammer down if he tries to get in it during the day. At night she lets him hang in the lowest possible head, and he's content.

Hello Everyone! I just wanted to share a couple pictures of my new Snowflakes. Hope you enjoy! They have been in my 90 Gallon for a couple of weeks now and are doing fantastic. I must say im a bit sad that they have not showed any interest in my Haddoni anemone thus far. Keeping my fingers crossed tho!

What an interesting looking clarkii. After a little research, I would venture a guess that she is from the Maldive Islands. Any chance you have a better pic of the male "clarkii"? I only ask because from the little I can see of it in the first pic, it looks more like an allardi.

I'll have to look into that some more, but thanks for the direction on the female. The male's colors are still changing quite a bit. He's only about 6 months old or so, and came from a local breeder. I've seen both the parents and they're definitely clarkii, so I"m guessing his colors are not yet set. The white on his midbar has been decreasing in length along his dorsal fin, and same on the tail.

I definitely feel lucky to have the female though, I was in the right place at the right time, and had my wife telling me to buy!
