I'm thinking of getting a 65 RR tank and I would like to stick with T5 lighting.. I want to see some pictures of your light setup inside your canopy.. Post some pics to give me an idea of how to mount my lighting..

I don't think any of them can, you're going to have to get retro fits. It would be pretty simple, buy the individual reflectors, you probably could fit 6 in the canopy and then decide on what type of ballast. You can overdrive the bulbs if you chose with an icecap ballast.

Here's mine.

Could have probably squeezed another couple of them in there, but wanted some extra space in there.

BTW, those are 3' long 39W T5HO. The halides in there are 2x250W. All of this sits over a 90 gallon (36x24x24) planted tank. The T5s produce very little if any heat. The fans only power on when the halides kick in.

bulbs names are from top of photo to bottom

UV Lighting Super Actnic
D&D Actnic plus
UV Lighting Super Actnic
D&D aquablue plus

i have no idea why the middle bulbs looks different in the pic.. i run the first and last bulbs for "sunrise/ sunset" effect

Here is my 125g with 5 foot t5's installed in the canopy.

The lights from front to back are:
GE 6500K Daylight
Giesemann Pure Actinic
Giesemann 11000K Aquablue Plus
Giesemann Actinic Plus

I mounted the ballasts on top of the canopy to prevent any saltwater accidents. As you can see, it's not the most aesthetic way to go about it, but I sleep better knowing they are above water level.

You can't see it in these pictures, but I mounted two outdoor/weatherproof switch boxes on the right side of the canopy (towards the back) so I could control the lights without having to mess around with the timers in the stand.
