Show me your bubble traps

I need some ideas. I screwed up my sump design one way or another and I am getting microbubbles galore in the display. They aren't comming from the skimmer. These are comming from the pipes coming from the overflow to the sump. Seems even with 6 baffles I am still getting them. Any idea's. I have tried putting bioballs between the baffles to catch them but that seems to work just not great. Some still get through. Its only about 1000 gph through a 20long.

I don't really wanna totally redo a new sump, so any kinda modification to baffles or box I can drop in would be great.

How about this:

"Only" 1000 GPH through a 20L? That is a recipe for microbubble problems.

Got a pic/diagram of the setup?

This is the best pic I could come up with at the moment :D

But anyways, have the drain flow into a piece of corrugated rigid tubing that has a overflow sponge on it. Then elbow up, and back over the sponge in case that casues a restriction. Make sure the sponge is slightly above the water level, and be sure to clean it often. Its worked for me.
