my first clam was a 2" crocea

then i got a 4" derasa

and i just picked up this 2 1/2" maxima ( he's still in QT )

Here are my maximas! My baby clam is now starting to show some gold on its mantle (not seen in pic).

This may not belong... but just currious if anyone is keeping other bivalves

Yeah, it was sponge... but my yellow headed sleeper goby sanded it and it died :sad2: the shell is in the process of covering over with coraline now.
