I bought it from Fragglereef. The owner thought it came from Vietnam.

DrDNA, when did you get the colored Tear Drop?
They're not exporting them anymore from Solomon's.

Rovert,

Is that the gold teardrop you got from Dr Mac corals? It is really nice! How long have you had the other maximas?

Ok, how'd you get that wiretap authorization?

Yes, that's where I got it. How did you know? Did I mention Dr. Mac somewhere, and foget? Sheesh! A waste is a terrible use of a mind... or something like that. :D

The big blue one was bought from Tropiquarium in NJ somewhere around 2003. The other one is a new acquisition from Cappuccino Bay, per an earlier inquiry.

All I have to say, is if you ever see one of those rainbow teardrops, give me a call, because I'm green with envy!

Just by way of a size comparison, the blue clam started out at about ~3", four years ago and is over 6" now. The teardrop was just purchased from Dr. Mac for $60 just about two months ago, and I think it's an awesome value for the price, though the photo is somewhat deceptive in that the size is closer to about 5". That third guy is one of the 3"- 4" clams from Cappuccino Bay, and I hope helps put things into perspective for those of you who are thinking about buying from them.
