The flame angel I have is eating my corals.
Looks like I had a bad pick. The flame eats my xenias, my green star polyps and eat a bit of the clam mantle.
I'll have to get rid of him in the next few weeks...
Instead, I'll go with something safe... I'll buy a male swallowtail angel! I don't have enough room in my tank to permit a male and a female so I'll just buy the male.
The swallowtail pair you have SDguy is grogeous!!!! I love the female but the male is just awesome...:eek1: Where did you got it? How mush did you paid for it? What is the size of the tank where you keep it?
Thanks. I purchased each from a different LFS. They are in my 115g. The male was $65, female was $50.
Bummer about your flame Just trap it and sell it. No biggie. I understand though...it was horrible to see my old argi eating my corals! I took no chances this time
As I understand it, male swallowtail angels will change to females with no female around. And occasionally even with a female around. I'm hoping this will not happen with mine.
