Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

Just set this tank up 4 weeks ago. Nothing fancy like most of the other ones in this thread! I still have some work to do in the sump/cabinet like sorting out the electric and adding the skimmer/media reactors.

Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

I need advice and ideas
I'm building a 96 wide 24 deep 37 tall stand
I've build the frame using rocket engineers design. See pic below.
Now for the skinning I'm breaking my head.
I definitely want the minimalistic high gloss white finish like the elos stands..... how do I go about skinning it? With such wide vertical 2x4s how can I even attach a hinge that will be completely hidden for the elos look.
I am thinking about using magnets to hold those 'doors'
Thinking about those round very strong magnets from eBay.
Thinking that I will drill 4 shallow holes on the frame for each door. Will screw the magnet in that counter sunk holes and then also attach 4 magnets to the doors itself and the doors will just hold with those 4 magnets each.
Want a clean look, so will have to be precise on the holes on the frame and the magnets on the doors.
Also thinking I will get a long narrow trim say 2" x96" for the top, just to give it a uniform look.
Does that sound appropriate?
Other ideas? Please share.
Thanks

120G stand

120G stand

Had this going for about a year now. So far so good.
Doors held on with magnets at the top, tiny L brackets at the bottom.

How did you ddo the sides?

Magnets & L brackets for the sides too actually. They are just decorative - covering up the black painted plywood sides.
I put a very quiet computer case fan on the hidden side to keep fresh air flowing through the inside.

Hardware store. The metal plate is meant for a magnetic catch on a cabinet door. The magnets are just strong little button magnets that I made a shallow hole for and stuck in with a dab of silicone caulk.

Thank you!
That small a magnet holds the doors fine??

The weight of the door is held up by the L brackets at the bottom, so the magnet just has to hold it closed against the frame. Works perfectly - just enough strength to hold it but easy to pull off.

150 gal. 2x6 wood frame covered in ¾ plywood & ¼ cement board and $400 of ledger stone. Initially I had the sump underneath but since I’ve moved it to my garage and I’m using a 100gal Rubbermaid as sump.

Nice. Very jealous of the garage sump! Too cold in mine for that.

Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

3/4 Maple Ply. All pocket hole screws and lots of glue. It feels very stout but will get a vertical center brace prior to filling. Doors, edge banding and stain coming soon and I'll update this post when done.

It's for a 60x24x24 150g SCA rimless.
