Well, here's my favorite for the day. Okay, maybe for the week then. Locally ID'd as A. nastua. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

P.S. Ivy64, love that nasuta...I wish you lived closer. :D

Leo, you DO live closer, and I want that first one. :)

Greg, the first one you posted is really nice...loisettae?

Graham, love the robusta (I think?)

Newmoon, great photography.

Sunglee, I like that yellow mille.

Hey aquariumclown,
Do you have any idea what your frag is? I grew something very similar from a 1/4" tip of a wild colony. New coralites always appear on the bottom side of the branch - none on the top side. Here's a top down view so it's a little hard to tell that the coralites only come out underneath. I have no clue on the ID, but it's one of my favorites.

tld,

Very nice coral! I'm no ID expert and I can't think of anything it could be, looks a little like one of the many bottle brush species of acros.

The one I posted is A. Jaqulinae, can't wait for it to turn into a full blown colony, it's making good progress so far.

Hopefully Graham can chime in on this one.

Here is my current favorite, but it's always changing

64Ivy, any idea where you got that coral, it looks a lot like one of mine, just curious. I know Zenia and JBNY frags from mine up your way.

I think it's an A. aculeus

Very nice Ivy...any chance of seeing it from a different angle...?

d.

I'm afraid a front angle is tough right now due to its placement in the tank. I would have to shoot it at an oblique angle which, through my acrylic, would make it look like an out of focus scoop of banana ice cream with sprinkles. I'm plan to do some shooting this weekend though. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Mantis: This frag came from a wild colony that one of my LFS got in about a month ago. At first, it was white with purple polyps like your aculeus (which I LOVE, btw) but has gotten more yellowish in the past few weeks. I do have it placed up high under a combination of 250W 10ks and 400W radiums though. Where do you have your aculeus?
