Here's a pic of my 150 FOWLR, soon to be a Butterfly dominated tank. -Steve

Dont look now, but someone put a scratch in your stand!

I'm not sure if you want advice or not sean, but I bet you'd like the look of your rock better if you made a pillar or a small stack somewhere and had a little open space instead of just a solid mass going across the entire tank. Just my 2 cents!

Yeah I had been thinking about that too. Haven't had a lot of time to do to much with my tank lately. I have the some of the same stuff going on as you. My son is due to be born on Sunday and we had thought he was coming this weekend so i've been getting everything I need for him lately. So now I can get back to my fish LOL. I had done a small pillar on the far right hand side. It goes up to my power head. I had thought about possibly having like 3 pillars in there. One on each side and one in the middle. Was a little concerned with the fish hiding tho. My tank is a room devider, so I would like to beable to see the fish swimming around.

The Tang is a Flame Fin Tomini, I want to pull it out as well as the Clown and the Firefish and just have a few Butterflies in there with the Midas Blenny. I corrently have a Lemon Butterfly in the tank with a nice Burgess and a Pearlscale in QT right now, hope to get them in the display around Christmas. -Steve

Sean, I personally like that look. You have a lot of caves and tunnels there which is good for the fish, it cuts down on the general agression level. I noticed a lot of people who have agression problems usually don't have enough hiding spots or getaway tunnels in their rockwork. So the fish besically have no place to hide. If you want to create some variety, you can vary the height a little. But IMHO fish don't like pure open space, they like rockwork more.

Used PVC and egg crate/zip ties to create pillars.

Here is a video of mine. I need to take some more recent pics.

Looking at that, I do need more rock. This picture is actually a mosaic of 5 shots, stitched together by Live Gallery.
