Show me your interesting 'Birdsnests'!

Here is mine. I got it when it was about the size of a pencil eraser now its the size of a softball growing into a nice piece.Ill post a few pics to show you different T5 bulbs can change the color of the coral drastically cause it amazed me haha. Definitely my favorite coral even above my other sps.BTW kien i need a piece of that purple one amazing color!!

Great looking piece! You're right; it IS amazing how much the color changes and comes out more with different bulbs. This is definitely one reason I love T5's; it give us the ability to 'tune' the lighting. Thanks again!

Nothing special but still cool to look at:

Thanks for posting, Sonny. :)

That's exactly why I wanted to start this thread. Because of their easy care level, we tend to over-look the Seriatopora genus. They can be common, but I think they're still very beautiful and unique, which is kind of ironic. :p

Kien are those 2 of the same? I fragged an ORA pink birds nest and have one frag up top and one frag down low. Hope to get some good color variation.

Nope. They came from two different frags. Top was sold to me as a Pink Birdsnest while the bottom was sold to me as a "Bird of Many Colours" :) They both live at about the same level on my aquascape (mid tank).
