Show Me Your QT Setup!

I want to see pictures of your quarantine setups!

As work progresses on my next big tank, I want to make sure I avoid some of the problems I had with my current setup...mainly flatworms, bugs, and other nasties!

So, let's see what you've got for quarantining your fish and corals! And what kind of treatments (if any) do you use on them before putting them in your main display. (Iodine, FW dip, interceptor, etc...)

Great link! Thanks for the info.

Anyone have any other setups they'd like to share?

Here is a picture of mine:

Not a lot to look at. It is on casters so I can easily move it around when I want.

Specs:
-20 gallon long (painted back and bottom black)
- 30" standard flourescent hood
-150 watt heater
- ABS pipe fittings (no chemicals that I am aware of leaching)
- Thermometer
- AquaClear 50 Power filter (I store sponge & bio material in my sump prior to using)
- Ammonia Indicator
- Small powerhead

Are most QT tanks Bare Bottom? Is there a reason for this?

Most are. As part of the Marine Ich's life cycle, they are in the substrate and rocks. So, if you were to infect your QT with Marine Ich, any new animals that pass through QT have a chance of being infected.
