I remember my first colony of Rics. I got a rock with about 15-20 polyps on it for $5.00. Man, those were the days.

I think what makes for rare would be that the pattern or colors are seldom seen, or never seen before. Now we understand whats rare in one place may not be rare in the next. Its really surprising how many colors they are when it comes to ricordia; amazing amount of colors and combination of colors.
