Show me your Shrimp Goby....

Well I got a banded pistol shrimp the other day in a group buy for a great price... so now I was thinking about getting him a buddy.

What's the coolest looking goby and the best match up for a banded pistol as a buddy?

Cool! Yeah the yasha goby is pretty cool looking with the red banded pistol.

I guess I'm partial to my Yasha I also have a pair of Hi-Fin's in my nano that are really cool.

They do get about 5 - 6" and are a little bit aggressive. I think he's the reason my Hifin Banded Goby jumped into my overflow box and died in my sump. Here's a photo of him:

He was only about 2". My Pinkspot does make piles of sand all over, which I must constantly level out. But he is kindof cool.

Here's my orange-spotted shrimp goby. These guys stay fairly small (~3") and have great personality. Mine paired with his tiger pistol within seconds of being introduced to the tank, he's a great fish.
