Show me your SPS dominated tank!

Kirsten's tank is wonderful, one of my favorites. We're lucky to have some serious SPS'ers in the Valley of the Scorching Sun!

Yup, its a queen angel. Scribble, Personifer, Regal and Blueface (hiding) there too.
:strooper:

reefplayer, that's great! I REALLY want a Queen in my next tank. But the little research I have done on them so far says you are not supposed to keep them in SPS tanks. How is your's doing? How long have you had him? I see that your tank is MUCH larger than what I was planning. I plan on a 60"x36"x20" ~ 150 gallons with a lot of swimming room. What do you think?

Should be no problem. But need lots of swimming space, a place to hide and also be prepare to get your sps tip bitten off once in a while. I encountered this becos i only feed once aday. They are very hungry and need at least 2 times moderate feeding. ;)

Sounds great! The Queen will probably be the only show fish in the tank. Maybe one medium sized tang. But Im glad to hear it's working out for you.

Do you have a preference between the queen and the blue face? Appearance or personality wise?

my queen was fine for a couple of months to a year... then one day he is older and decides to start feasting... lucky he was easy to get out as he was very agresive eater.. went right into the trap for some food

I think both look quite similar in colours but Queen has very nice long dosal and anal fin which makes me like to watch it swims.

But becareful, Queen is very fierce. Its now really the Queen of my tank. Unless i introduce a KING in.

Oh man!!! That is awesome stuff Reefplayer.

You guys are the reason I went with an SPS system. I can't wait for my tank to mature.

I may be biased, but does anyone else think that an SPS reef is much more attractive than a mixed or softy reef? I do:)
