I need to see some new ideas for using the rubbermaid 100g stock tanks. I'm beating myself up over arrangement of the fuge, chiller and frag tank and would love to see what some other peoplle have done for that configuration.

This is what i have come up with so far,the shelf is for the fuge as a gravity feed to the sump and fed off the main drain.Frag tank is to the left.I have to keep things kinda tight in that space, cause i have to frame it in once i plumb it up.

Haha...cinder blocks all the way. I have a good idea of what i want, but plumbing the skimmer and chiller is what i'm after. I dunno if i should keep the skimmer in the sump,i guess i could considering i have the room. As far as the chiller goes,i was wondering if i should run the chiller back into the sump or try to tie it in w/the return?

Lots of good ideas. Where did you get that shelft that is held up by the chain?

If I can't find a cheap cheap 75g for my sump, I'll end up using a 100g stocktank probably.

I scavange everything i can for this build! The shelf was made from 4 steel land rover brackets w/chain and an old shelf w/a galvanized reinforcment...nothing to it!;) I was never a plumber,so i'm tring to learn as i go. I do have a stupid question though...if i tee off the main return from the tank and dump into the fuge,do i need to put a ball valve after the tee or on the pipe going to the fuge? Did anyone follow that?
