Show off your ANGELS!

I lucked out on this one. I asked the store owner if it was eating and he threw in some pellets which he attacked and then some flake which he went for as well. It actually took him a while to recognize the frozen as food haha.

reefslugs,
your current group of Angels, and the new addition, are all wonderful choices and excellent looking specimens, but I'm definitely happy to see some love for the Golden (centropyge aurantius). One of them, and the Multicolor, shall be my first Centropyge specimens added to my aquarium, hopefully followed by a Colini.

Yeah reefslugs, nice collection of angels. It looks like the Golden was sizing up your millie, how is he/she with your sps?

Thanks everyone for the nice complaments. As far as the golden angel goes, he was the third one I tried to keep. The first two never would eat. Then the third guy I got ate good, but they are very shy. The only time I saw him was when I was feeding. I beleave that these fish should be in a small tank, with no other swimming fish and dim lighting. They are beautiful!

Yes, they are certainly not used to bright lighting, so they'll do better if introduced to a quarantine tank first and allowed to adjust to some medium lighting a bit before going in under something like halides or abundant T5's. They can live in an SPS tank, but most of the time they behave cryptic during the entire photo-period. I'm hoping that with using LED spotlighting, rather than illuminating the entire tank evenly, I should have pretty active behavior from deeper water specimens.

Just thought I'd post a pic update on the Multibar because I know they have a bad rep in captivity. Now in the main tank 13 months on, still eating well, fingers crossed it looks happy in the much more brightly lit environment.

Just missed focus on these shallow DoF shots which was frustrating...:

Here is a not great picture of my 2 potters.
The larger is about 2.75 in. and I've had for 6 months and the other is 2 in. and I've had for 5 months.
There is some nipping of the smaller by the larger but they dance together in the upper tank at dusk.

Here is the only Angel currently residing in my display

The 453nm + 403nm Stunner Strips really do wonders for the colors on him & my butterflies. Hopefully the upcoming additions I have coming in will go smooth.
