thanks to all

Manny, I just picked up a real nice Bali Harquelin's Tusk, doesn't do very well with inverts, but its good with coral.. it is beautiful! Very good personality and is always moving, adds very nice color to the tank. Another I would have to suggest is a purple tang, I am purchasing one on Monday, awesome fish.

My personal favorite is either the red sea sailfin tang, or the bluethroat triggers. Give Rogger Castell a holler, he's got a beautiful pair! (triggers, that is!)
Also, in my opinion, a nice profile reef with a school of bangaii cardinals are gorgeous, and include a diadema (longspine) urchin for the babies to hide out in. Cool to watch them blend in.

I just got a blue throat trigger for my FOWLR... very nice fish... will be moving him over when I upgrade my reef tank (180 or bigger... still looking) Red Sea Sailfin tangs are another beautiful fish - but I rather have a purple tang or black tang in my tank if I had to choose one or the other... and sadly you do...

black tangs and purple tangs aren't something you see all the time. They are very nice / expensive fish... very exotic...

Not terribly exotic, but with your sized setup you shouldn't have a problem with one of these.

I have one, another one of my favorite fish, I have kept mine with no problem.... and only 14$, how great!

If you are looking for some different cool fish, check out exotic Aquatic up here in Ft Laud. Hes been getting in some really cool fish you don't see everyday. Right now he has a beautiful pair of zebra angels for 300 or 350(on the marine center they were 499), the Helfrichi Firefish, Lineatus Wrasse, Scott's Fairy Wrasse, Eightline Fairy Wrasse, Labout's Fairy Wrasse and a blue line angel just to name a few of thing he had instock yeterday! Big Als didn't even have that much different stuff when I was there yesterday!

I live a couple of miles from Exotic Aquatic and I agree they have a great selection livestock, drygoods, frozen/fresh foods and a wonderful staff, not to mention most of their stuff is priced to sell. They usually have a wide selection of corals and inverts that look really healthy. A+ on my list, I shop there often. here's a nice example of a sun coral that I picked up from them a couple of weeks ago.

It's been awhile since I've been there, I wasn't impressed with their coral selection... might have to try em again. Their prices on dry goods were hard to beat, a few better prices than big al's.
Their carbon was rock bottom price!

There are so many options for you to choose from it always diffucult to suggest a stocking list.
I personally like fish the most people consider borderline reef safe. Anytime I ever hear someone call a fish "possibly reef safe" I have generally tried them out in my tank. Here are some picks of some of the fish I have now.
FYI - The Mitratus B'Fly has been the most un-reefsafe fish I have ever had. I cannot keep zoo's, zenia, or any type of clove polyp corals in the tank for more than a week before he has made a meal out of them. He hasn't been to bad with LPS and SPS corals though.

My personal favorite are my Watanabei Angels.

Wow nice fish triggerfish, How long have you had the crosshatch? they are very pretty.

Manny, if I was to do my tank again and I am contemplating the idea more every day, I would just try to keep small reef fishes in my tank, possibly large school of anthias, and some small gobies, and some colorful wrasses, I would stay away from large fishes, they are great but in my opinion they are not the perfect match for the natural beauty of a SPS tank.

I agree, I bought 5 blue chromis and they school in my tank nicely, also have a two small clowns, a ocellaris and black occelaris, and I like the small fish, there always moving around and add color to the tank... My huge gold-stripe just stays making love to my anenome and doesn't move much... but for my harlequin's, he never stops moving. My yellow tang is always swimming and my anthias comes out every now and then.... but rogger is right, small fish/colorful small fish, are in my opinion the nicest for a reef tank...

Rogger,

I have had it about 8 months. They are gorgous fish but they eat so much food. I am acctually getting rid of them this weekend to trim down on the waste production in the tank.

They have moved to a larger establishment, on Oakland Pk. Blvd., they're doing a much better job now.
