I just recently purchased a pink and green tube anemone. I actually got lucky because there was a smaller one attached..... but I have fell in love with these animals, and plan on getting several others in the future...... so let's see some pics of your tube anemones!!!!

I just got one of these and it is very cool. Here is mine on the first day. What I didn't realize is how they open at night. I need to get a picture of that!

Does anyone know if I need to bury the tube into the sand? I dug a little spot for the "foot" but after reading some I am thinking I need to bury the entire tube.

Maybe just make a little trough for it to rest in. It should bury itself.

I don't get the green center on mine like a lot of these do. It had a green center when I ordered it but I don't see it in my tank. Here's the pic when I ordered it,

No green now though.

I just picked one of these up today. Can I place it in the rockwork? I have a pistol/goby pair that makes a mess of the sand and am afraid of the anemone getting buried.

No. The anemone will take care of itself. My mantis shrimp would try to dig mine up but it never affected it much. These must have a sandbed to make a tube in and protect themselves.
