The big frags are the ORA German Blue Polyp Montipora Digitata (generally one of the easier SPS corals to keep)

I've got many other frags, some Milleporas (pink or purple), a few frags of the Superman Danae, one or more pieces of Tyree montipora Confusa, some pieces of blue staghorn acropora and some other stuff. I'll also be bringing frags of a purple rim purple body, yellow polyp monti cap because some people have expressed interest in it. I'm thinking about just selling the whole 4"x5" colony though, since it's growing into my acros, and isn't in a great place in the tanks. No pics though.

I'm very excited.

lol yeah i knoticed what pict i posted probobly about the same time you posted ( edited post to make note of the hydroids painfull death )

i dont stick my camera into my zoa tank enough as majority of the time the water is nice and green (just how i want it);)

the store i am going to be at the table with is getting in a transhipment on the 28th. depending on what comes in we may chop shop the stuff ( will be in seperate tank away from the aquacultued stuff)

i may need one of those german blues. as mine has turned a cream color ( still growing) but i cant get the color back yet

Chris, you'll loose the colors again. They come and go, but it's totally dependent on the system. I've got them under a ton of light, including heavy VHO actinic, and sometimes they are colored up, sometimes they're just brown. I think that higher flow will make them blue up more. HTH.

My german blue is actually pretty blue right now! esspecially when only the actinics are on. and supposedely down the line mine came from eric's.

So, out of curiosity, how did you get rid of the hydroids...I have a couple popping up and I want to "nip in the bud."

first off.
the coral lost its color in display when 4 bulbs burnt out ( never fixed it. never cared as it was the only ting that seemed to mind )
under my halides its getitng darker but sooo slowly.

as for the hydroids
sorry kat. i dont have an easy way i just removed the coral it self from the rock and threw out the rock lol

anyone bringing some nice acans, yumas, torches, brains or favias??? im looking for some real nice lps either frags or small colonies. looking for some strong color contrasts.

I would also like some blue tubs zoas or purple death/or nuclear green palys if anyone has some

I bought a frag from Eric a long time ago. Had this in my old tank and never got color. Put it in my new tank, other stuff started coloring, and this thing would not color up. Had an orange digitata which had really nice color, this thing would still not color up. Had a couple of accidental frags of the german blue, put one high, one med, one low in my tank. The middle always was the closest to coloring up.

Brought my P04 down pretty low, and alk was sitting stable around 4 meg dl, they started coloring up. Had a alk crash, too much GFO, from 4.0 to 2.5, they lost there color. Now Alk is stable again and they are all colored up. IMO these guys like low nutrients, and stable alk, mine seem to prefer the middle of my tank but have color high, middle and low.. BTW, at the same time my orange digi went from a deep orange to a medium close to pastel orange.

Moral of the story, I think these guys are finicky to keep color on there polyps but are great growers. Shoot, somedays are better than others for no apparent reason. Give it time, it will color up if your tank is stable.

I would gladly bring infinite kenya trees though, but I don't want to bring them home after. SPS tend to sell/swap easier than softies/LPS. LPS are also more difficult because most of them are (like the name suggests) large, and not easily propagted. Today I made a bunch of frags of the SPS that people tend to really like, the pink mille, the LJ Tricolor, blue/purple tip stag, superman danae, Monti Confusa, and some other little green acros too. So much time bleh!

I just did another maybe 50 or so frags, built a second frag rack, still haven't gotten my VHOs to work (we broke them this weekend when we installed the Luminarc Minis), and have to leave, because I'm already looking at getting back to Tallahassee at 10pm, probably later :/

I'm still excited excited for the frag swap :) :)

Some more pics of what I did since I was home this weekend:

So whoever was looking for some nice pink millepora, blue stag, green acropora, Larry jackson Tricolor, Superman Danae, or Tyree Monti Confusa, I'll have them with a bunch of frags of the first three. All of them should be encrusted by the time the swap finally comes around as well. They're all pretty small except for the blue tipped stags, which are large because it grows so quickly and in large branches.
