Show your Reef!

I didn't find any such thread, but I thought it would be nice to have a single reference of the various hobbyist's tanks in NM.

If you have a picture of your tank to show, please feel free to post away :-D

--------------------------------

Oddly enough, my coral is still out of state (relocated here) so for the next couple weeks, my tank is FOWLR.

Once I get my coral IN the tank, I'll put up new photos. Until then, here is the coral-free tank :P

And Frags of my coral (I broke it all down to frag size to make relocating easier and cheaper :P).

Ignore the SPS brown out...LED's and SPS don't mix, or so is my experience :P

Here are a few pics of my setup. Nothing too fancy. Love my new yellow eye Kole tang

Thanks for sharing :-D I agree, that tang is pretty cool. The yellow eye really contrasts the body well.

Hey guys! I just found this new mexico group and i wanted to introduce myself. My name is Taylor, im 17 and i live in albuquerque. This is my 40 breeder.

Hey Taylor! Thanks for showing off your tank :-D
Im not sure if there is a "group" anymore. Like you, I am new here, and if there isn't anyone active, I'm hoping to change that!

I would like to post some photos of my tank. Is it possible to post it here, or does it have to be hosted by another web site?

Ha! Figured out how to attach a photo.

It's from a few months back. Since then, I got a few more corals and fish. I'll have to take an updated photo and see how much everything has grown.

Yeah!!! we need to get a reef club going or something. Maybe a frag swap? I cant afford sw reef anymore haha

My parents are coming early in Oct (during the balloon fest) and I have no ability to host, however I'll be following the idea and hope it unfolds :-D

Here is a picture of my tank. Just rearranged, that's why the birdsnest has a flat top.

I'm a little new at posting, how do you get the image to show up directly in the post rather than as a link?

You'll need to upload them to a dedicated photo host. :D Some of the most popular ones are Photobucket, Flickr, and Picasa, lots of other ones though. Then just about all of them anymore will give you an option to copy and paste some different "code" for what you're wanting to do (email, forums, etc.). All you'll have to do is copy and paste the right code into a reply here and your picture will show up in a post.

That is the simplest way for the bare newbies to do it. :D

you can also put your attached image link in the image code
