I got it from Live Aquaria's Divers Den. Under thier 20k 400w mh it is Minnesota Vikings purple, Im going to get bluer bulbs my when I rebulb next.

The tangs range from 3 to 7 inches. The clam, about 20 inches. It's in a display tank at a LFS. There's a smaller clam on the other side!!!!

wow. thats still a pretty big clam!
I thought that the yellow tang swimming right next to the clam might have been full grown making the clam closer to 4 feet... 20" is still quite impressive though!

Great looking favia maroun.c! How fast does it take for one to reach that size? I know their are many factors that contribute to growth rate, but how fast do they generally grow? I keep seeing tiny frags at my LFS. I love how the orangish-brown on yours turns dark blue under actinics!

I dont have many corals yet as my tank is fairly young, but my current centerpeice is this branching torch coral

unlike most torch corals ive seen the white tips dont pop much under the actinics, but rather the green centers of the torch's heads. I sure dont mind tho!
