Shrimp and Trigger relationship?

I have a skunk cleaner shrimp that seems to have formed a relationship with my Niger trigger. He sleeps in the same little cave as the Niger and I catch him doing cleanings even in his mouth. Is this pretty normal with triggers and does this change with age?

Depends on the fish, I had shrimp with eels, lionfish, and triggers and it was fine till I killed it on accidentally.. Still upset :c

As long as the shrimp cleans he will be fine, I had one with a clown trigger for over a year untill one day I just had the trigger.

This kind of goes back to the old saying of keep your friends close but your enemies closer! they may appear to be friends but really the shrimp is feared for his life and has no option but to make the best out of his time in your tank.
