Hi,
I've got a fully plumbed display refugium that I've had setup for 12 months now. I've used it for all sorts of different experiments like growing macro algae, chaeto and cultivating pods.
I've had a pair of hingeback (camel) shrimp living in there for 6 months with no issue and I'm thinking about converting the display to a shrimp only refugium.
Display refugium is plumbed into a fully stocked Red Sea reefer.
Current inhabitants are:
2x Hingeback Shrimp (Camel shrimp)
Countless other critters (bristleworms, pods, snails, small abalones)
Small amount of rock work
The only thing I really want to add before I get more shrimp is some more rock (for extra hiding areas + room for territory)
My main concern is compatibility with my current hingeback (camel) shrimp. I would love to eventually get some sexy shrimp in there and maybe a blood shrimp as well but I'm worried about if all these inhabitants will get a long with each other.
Does anyone have any advice about which shrimp will live well together?
