Shrimp compatibility

Hi there. I'd like to get a couple more shrimp for my 29g, but I'm concerned they might be attacked by my pistol shrimp.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I want to get a pep shrimp and one or two cleaner shrimp.

i have been doing some reading about pistol shrimp because i was going to add one to my 75g, from what i have read so far you have a 50/50 chance it will attack your shrimp/snails/hermits. some reefers have had no problem with them while others get their whole cleaner crew taken out, its all on the personality of the shrimp itself. ive also read that pistol shrimp with a paired goby have less of a chance of being aggressive, but its a 50/50 chance.

We have a Pistol, Fire, and Cleaner together in a 37g...no probs thus far. We also have a 14g with a cleaner and Purple Lobster together without issue.

not so sure about pistols,but I have a coral banded and a skunk cleaner that hate each other..but both of them will live with peppermints without a problem lol /boggles

like i stated its all up to the individual shrimp, some will, some wont lol

I had a diamond goby with a striped pistol in a 30 gallon alongside a large blood shrimp and 3 peppermint and had no problem. I think it all depends on territory size. I think 2 cleaner may be a little crowded in 29.

they do tend to hunt cleaner shrimp tho ive heard
