Shrimp Dead?

I cant find my peppermint shrimp but I found what appears his attenaes and body, its completly devored though, Why would it die?

Im not sure if I should get another one or not

Its possible that it just molted and you are seeing its skin. They will hide for a day or two after that until there shell gets hard again.

How long have you had it? Is there anything in the tank that would have killed it? What are your water parameters?

It probably molted. It will hide until it's new exoskeleton is hardened. I would wait a few days and keep your eye out for it.

I remember my first time my shrimp molted I was ****ed to see all the pieces of him everywhere but them a day later... a new shiny red shrimp... cool!!!
