Shrimp ID please

Caught this lil guy in my trap along with about ten others while mantis hunting in the past few nights... eyes are on the left side and the tail looks alot like a mantis's.. any ideas (please just use the link to the picture.. dont post the pic up.. thx)

I believe it looks like a parasitic isopod.

yeah you dont want those guys in your tank. if you ever thought mantids were evil (misconception) then wait till you see them in action. as suggested before, remove the fish.

I wondered what that lump was on the peppermint shrimp. Now I am hoping that was one of the ones that the lion ate.


Will one of these infect a stomatopod?
