Shrimp safe to net?

I'm acclimating 4 shrimp right now and I want to net them to avoid getting anywater in the main tank when transferring...

this is my first time with inverts so i want to make sure i do this correctly.

is there any harm in netting shrimp?

The net is also wet. I usually use my hand, hold shrimp loosely jailed, and swish him back and forth gently in discard tank water for a bit of a decontamination shower, then put him in. Same with catching them in a tank. Hold a piece of raw shrimp in your cupped hand and wait for him to come to dinner. [They are cannibals, if something's dead.] They're not ooky. Just kind of delicate, like getting poked by a feathery thing.

Hey Sk8r ... i'm not sure I follow you .. i'm sorry.

it's ok to touch both peppermint shrimp and scarlett skunk shrimp in my hand your saying?

as for the "swooshing" part...

right now there acclimating in a 5 gallon bucket... once acclimated should i place them into a seperate container of actually tank water as a rinse?

if i'm following you , your telling me to put them in my hand "jailed loosely" swish hand back and forth out of water to try and get rid of any water on them

does this sound correct? I could also repeat the process a second time from the second container of tank water then into the actual tank?

Sk8r is saying have a bowl of discarded tank water and swish the shrimp, in-hand, in that water. This rinses off any icky water from elsewhere. Don't "beach" your shrimp, lol!

Shrimps are fine in your hand unless they're pistols and mantises (manti?)
