think he was going after star fish already! :)

Haven't been in a Reef store of any kind in awhile. Gonna have to get out more. Hope it does the job for you, I'm still picking 2 or 3 a day. Wish there was a bait for the star critters, the eat Acros and coraline algae so impossible to bait.

I have only seen a couple here and there in my tank, but I know where there is one there are many more. I have also had some daisy polyps that have come up missing. I was thinking it is bristle worms, but now I am wondering if it is asterina. I have had everyone in the house watching for the bristle worms, and have managed to pull out a couple.

Well I spotted an asterina all over my Millie! Been wondering why my Sps have had chunks and slithers of flesh missing.. Hmmmmm

They've also been all over my t. Neon green toadstool.. And it hasn't opened in days..

Cool thanks for posting the pic, I think I'll find one too. I still get 2 to 6 a day so they are still in the rock and will never all come out. I think thats why I never had stars in my old Reef, had a few harliquins in there for about a year. They probably kept them under control and eventualy wiped them out.

There were six eating this one little acan colony yesterday. They've also been pestering my Zoa's lately. I dont think my RPE's or nightmares are gonna make it. They didn't bother anything for so long, why now? Johnie do those Shrimp eat brittles too? Ben, yeah its just the regular white ones. The same ones that behaved for years.

I've seen them all do it over the years, most times they just eat a spot and move on. Almost impossible to wipe them out by pulling them, never thought Harliquins would touch them. But remember I had a tank without them that I had put a few Harli's in that lived a year or so. I've got them down to only find a few a day now so maybe a couple of shrimp will find the rest.

Got mine today, thanks Mike.

They must put out some bad vibes, couple hours after release, bunch of stars climbing glass near rocks where he went. Mitch Rapp of the reef tank world!
