shrinking polyps solution??

Some polyps on a couple of different frags of mine are shrinking. They close up first, stay closed and then just get smaller and smaller. There are no signs of pox or infection or predators of any kind. All parameters are in check as well.
Is there something that I can do to try to keep them from melting away? I thought about a quick lugol's dip of 1-5 minutes. Any help here?
Pods aren't the problem either as my new mystery wrasse had a feast when I added him.:D

wow, ive got 50 morphs in my frag tank, and there are pods EVERYWHERE, and they do crawl all over the zoos, looks like i need a predator ASAFP. Glad i got a heads up before it becomes a bigger problem. Would a mandarin be an alright choice? its a barebottom frag tank with egg crate, but im talkin pods EVERYWHERE and have been for a couple months now.

I decided to get one to try that route. I dont know if it was a good choice though. It is a difficult fish to care for as far as food supply. I kinda wonder how long the pod supply will last. Not only that its not like the fish was placed into the tank and immediately started eating pods on zoa's (which in my mind at the time is what was going to happen and I shouldve known better but the situtation caused me to make an impulse decision)

Are the pods causing a problem for you right now junior? If not...it seems to me that they were only attacking weakened frags not the healthy ones. The ones I lost were recently shipped and most likely recently fragged and the polyp mats were decaying which is what the pods were after. Its hard for me to say if there was a sudden change in the pod population or was it a coincidence as I put new frags into the tank. If it is related to a jump in the pod population I would expect to see my healthy zoa's start to suffer too (which they havent...yet) and I have had this prob for about 1.5-2 weeks.

Just my recent observations....When I searched this subject there were a lot of people reporting the problem but no one giving a solution or stating what worked.

I cant say they are or arent. But i can say that they ARE all over all of them. Some open that day, some dont, which doesnt mean anything, but it certainly cant be making them happy having them crawling all over them.
