Shrinking 'shrooms

Over a period of the last few weeks, my mushrooms have shrunk to half their previous size. Everything else is doing well, Hammer, frogspawn, clam, GSP, leather, xenia, yellow stars.

Can anyone venture a guess to what may be the problem?

yikes... I believe that by asking the question here in the LPS forum I might gain a bit of perspective on the possibility of a Hammer or Frogspawn (LPS?) might be stinging the mushrooms. Regardless, thanks for your support.

That could be. How close are they? I tend to think the mushrooms might win, but depends on what type of mushrooms.
Flow, feeding, light would be my first guesses unless the LPS corals are really close. A pic would help.

my mushrooms typically shrink when subject to strong lighting (change to new bulbs, or replace fixture with stronger one, etc).

Mine open more in high pH, high alkalinity, high light (the light in my tanks is usually low).
