shroom placement

I just got a mushroom as a hitchhiker for a piece of LR. I do not know anything much about them. Where is the best placement for a mushroom in the tank and do the like alot of flow or less. Thanks

Less flow, but aside from that I've kept them anywhere from the bottom of the tank to the top.

Thank you. Now there is only one mushroom about the size of a dime on it, will any new mushrooms grow the rock also or will I have to cut it/help it spread in other ways.

Once it get settled in it will start to spread.

Lower light is fine and I agree on the lower flow also. It will spread on the rock.

+1 on the lower flow. They expand more in lower flow. They can survive in all different types of lighting conditions. Once the shroom is happy it will spread all on its own. No need to do any cutting.
