Shut Down QT can I use equipment????

I have shut down a tank I was using for a QT to upgrade to a larger capacity system. I have power heads, heater, return pump, protein skimmer from this system and I would like to reuse them, but I was treating fish for ICK and was using copper.

Do you think these items will be safe for a reef tank if I clean them throughly? Or should I just scrap them?

I would hate to sell these items to a fellow reefer and them have trouble.

Yes. If it's just ich, desiccation(drying) will kill the parasites. Make sure that everything is fully dried, though. You can also clean them with vinegar or run hot tap water (>104° F) through the equipment; the heat and chlorine will kill them too.
