Sicce Syncra 5.0 or Hagen Fluval Sea SP4

Looking for a external pump for a closed loop, two 1" outlets.
Looking at either the Sicce Syncra 5.0 or the Hagen Fluval Sea SP4.
I've heard the Sicce Syncra pumps are great pumps and very quiet.
I haven't heard anything about the Fluval Sea pumps, but like the 500gph advantage at about the same price.

Any thoughts?

I have the SP6 as my return pump and I love it. I can't hear it at all.
It replace my speedwave 10000DC pump that just died on me. I didn't even last a year.

Hagen pump is the same motor as the Laguna Max Flow....Askoll can't go wrong here

I was looking at a couple different dc pumps, but there is just too many complaints so far.

I know where there is a SP6 for sale, but it's more than I want to try and force through two 1" outlets.
It would be like a fire hose. lol

Sicce is a good pump, but I would take an Askoll pump over a Sicce.

IMO a better quality pump

Is this a problem for the SP4?

Do the ceramic bearings contribute to noise, less useful pump life?

SP 4 has ceramic bearings which is good.
Laguna pond pump does not. They are plastic.

How is the flow on your SP6 compared to your 10000DC?

It has alot more flow then the 10000DC. 3443gph vs 2640gph
And its Quiet.
