Im looking at getting 2 of the Voyager 8's (3200 gph) for a 4.5x2x18" (~100 gallons) tank since a local place has a special on them at the moment where they give you the wave surfer controller free but I think it really is too much flow for a 4' tank that wont have SPS anytime soon. It will mostly have bta's, ricordia and maybe lps. I know it says the flow can be adjusted but how much can you reduce the flow? Can you get up to 50% less flow if needed? The voyager 8 is only 4 watts more than the voyager 4 so its worth it to get the bigger ones in case I upgrade later.
