Fish has eaten some food last night and today, is swimming, but less energetically than normal. Cheeks seem sunken in.

Any help would be appreciated.

...got nano-reef.com, i have the same user name, thead is about a sick blenny in the disease forum...pics work there.

get a photobucket account [free] and use them and that little mountains pic icon that shows up when you type a reply.

Oh, he's in bad trouble. Pull him out to hospital and I'd probably use Metronidazole in the water.

He ate last night, and I fed him about an hour ago. Is acting a lot better now, and comes to the surface for food if I put my hand above the tank. I can see all those pellets inside him...could it be an internal parasite that keeps him so skinny? Feed my fish every 3 days, my blenny never got fatter since the day I got him.

I'll look up that metronidazole stuff.

quote from wetwebmedia: "Internal flagellate complaints manifest themselves in lethargic behavior, sitting on the bottom, bloating, slow, labored breathing, a lack of feeding..."

so metronidazole treats flagellates??? what is that? my blenny is eating, is skinny, not bloated, and is swimming pretty normaly. breathing may be just a little heavier.
