Sick Clown Tang

I picked up this beautiful little (3") clown tang from a LFS three weeks ago. He's been in QT and eating mussels and clams great. I noticed two days ago some damage to his tail and now almost his whole tail is gone. He's all by himself in QT. He also has a large spot on his right side. Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

After reading a couple of different threads and doing some online research, I believe this is common "Tail Rot". I've started dosing Furan 2 and I'll track the progress. This is the first time I've used a medication other than cupramine.
