I have a clown fish that I bought about 2 weeks ago when I first saw him in the lfs it looked fine but once I got him home and acclimated him he had around three or four white spots on him so the first thought naturally was ich so I did some research on it fresh water dipped quarantined him and started a low salt treatment well two weeks later there are the same couple of spots in the same place they never went away and came back like I thought anyway I’ve been trying to find out what it is but can’t find anything on it.
I’ve tried to take pics of it but I’m not good with my cam so sorry about that but I can try to describe it.
Below the eye on the tale and on one of the front fins are little white spots about the size of sea salt ( about the size of a little clump of table salt) they look like you could take something and just scrape them off ( haven’t tried) the clown hasn’t been scraping and only eats a little
I thought that ich would go away in a couple of days and then come back until they die off but this hasn’t happened any idea on what this might be anyone
